Refunds and cancellation
Eligibility, deposits, no-shows, and how refunds are processed for consultation sessions.
Scope
This policy applies to paid consultations listed on our rates page: personalised yield projection, scenario comparison review, and calculator onboarding. It does not cover Microsoft Store purchases of Smart Crypto Calculator PC, which follow Microsoft’s own refund rules.
Deposit and full payment
A 30% deposit confirms a booked session. The remaining balance is due on the session day. Refunds below refer to amounts actually received by Analytics Data Digital.
Cancellation by you
- More than 48 hours before the start time: full refund of deposit and any prepaid balance.
- 24–48 hours before: 50% of the session fee may be retained; the remainder is refunded.
- Less than 24 hours, or after the session begins: deposit is non-refundable; prepaid balances for unused time are assessed case by case.
Rescheduling
One free reschedule is allowed if requested at least 24 hours ahead and a mutually available slot exists within 21 days. Further reschedules may be treated as cancellations under the table above.
No-shows
If you do not attend and do not notify us, the session fee is due in full. Deposits are not returned for no-shows.
Cancellation by us
If we cancel for operational reasons, you may choose a full refund or a new date. If a practitioner becomes unavailable mid-engagement before work starts, prepaid amounts are refunded in full.
Work already started
Once a session has begun and calculator scenarios are underway, fees for that session are non-refundable. If technical failure on our side prevents completion, we offer a free continuation slot or a proportional refund for unused minutes.
Materials
Printed or digital projection packs already emailed are not returnable. We do not sell physical goods that require shipping returns.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds return via the original bank transfer or FPS route within 10 business days after approval. We do not offer cash refunds at the office.
How to request a refund
Email info@analytics-data.digital with your booking name, session date, and reason. Phone +852 2868 8888 for urgent same-day cancellations, then confirm in writing.
Exceptions
Force majeure events (severe weather warnings that close Central offices, city-wide network outages during an online session) qualify for free rescheduling or full refund at your choice.
